The Museum of Modern Art archives have numerous collections with materials related to Motherwell. The most extensive are The Robert Motherwell Scrapbooks, and The George Wittenborn, Inc. Papers which contain extensive materials related to Motherwell’s editing projects, including the Documents of Modern Art series, and Possibilities magazine.
