2019 Citywide High School Scholarship Winners Exhibition

Since 1999, the Dedalus Foundation has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors from New York City public high schools who plan to attend college and have shown excellence in fine art. Submissions were judged by a panel composed of representatives from the New York City Department of Education and from local museums and colleges.

Dedalus is pleased to present an exhibition of works by the 2019 scholarship recipients. Paintings, drawings, and photographs are on display that highlight the technical skill and compositional creativity of artists Asilbek Akmalov, Hunter Bivings, Jiaxing (Natalia) Deng Yuan, Daniel Friedman, Alexandra Godwin, Daphne Knouse, Tatiana Rincon, and Steven Cai, winner of the Sunset Park High School Scholarship.
