Since 1999, the Dedalus Foundation has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors from New York City public high schools who plan to attend college and have shown excellence in fine art. Submissions were judged by a panel composed of representatives from the New York City Department of Education and from local museums and colleges.

This year, Dedalus is pleased to present an online exhibition of works by the 7 recipients of the Dedalus Foundation Scholarship as well as the 5 recipients of the Mark Rothko Scholarship, for which Dedalus hosted the jury. The selection of works on display highlight the technical skill and compositional creativity of the following artists:
