A group of distinguished scholars, colleagues and friends gathered to celebrate the life, achievements and legacy of Francis V. O’Connor, Ph.D., the foremost Pollock scholar, co-editor (with Eugene V. Thaw) of the Jackson Pollock catalogue raisonné, pioneering historian of New Deal art and American mural painting, curator, critic and poet. Speakers included William C. Agee, David Anfam, Avis Berman, Greta Berman, Kerrie Buitrago, Helen A. Harrison, Gerald Monroe, Richard Taylor, and Samuel Sachs II.
