Printed Materials & Posters

These are highlights from the Foundation’s collection of hundreds of catalogues, brochures, announcements, posters, and publications related to Robert Motherwell and his career. Motherwell began to collect these materials in the 1940s and the collection continued to grow. The highlights include the catalogue from Motherwell’s first exhibition at Art of this Century Gallery, the course flyers for the Subjects of the Artist school, and posters from major exhibitions.
