Comments
This lithograph was pressed between linen canvases while wet to add texture to the surface. Trial proofs were printed on various papers as follows: TP I on mustard HMP rag handmade; TP II on mauve HMP rag handmade; TPs III and IV on tan HMP rag handmade; and TP V on white Twinrocker rag handmade.
The plate used for the Roth Händle motif was used again by the artist and Catherine Mosley for cat. nos. 184-191.
