Though Motherwell completed this print in 1977, it was not officially published until 1983. The paper was torn down from the original sheet size of 22 x 30 in. (55.9 x 76.2 cm). Several impressions of this edition were released prior to 1983 on paper measuring 20 x 14 in. (50.8 x 35.6 cm). Some artist's proof impressions measure 20 x 14 in. (50.8 x 35.6 cm).
