This portfolio was produced for sale by the Long Point Gallery, an artist's cooperative in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Each of the gallery's twelve member artists contributed a print to the portfolio, including Varujan Boghosian, Carmen Cicero, Sideo Fromboluti, Edward Giobbi, Budd Hopkins, Leo Manso, Motherwell, Paul Resika, Judith Rothschild, Sidney Simon, Nora Speyer, and Tony Vevers.

The black plate was used again in Music for J. S. Bach (cat. no. 471).
