Comments

This line etching is underscored by a pale pink plate tone. It was included in a limited edition of poems by the French critic and poet Marcelin Pleynet titled L'Amour Vénitien, published in 1984 in the Carte Blanche collection directed by Mathias Pérez. The book was printed in 500 examples on ivory vellum and 26 examples on Arches paper. Six examples contain a painting by James Bishop.
