This print was based on Untitled, a collage from 1986 that Motherwell made as a maquette for this edition, which incorporates six collage elements. The print was included in a portfolio titled Galeria Joan Prats, 1976-86, which included works by Sergi Aguilar, Frederic Amat, Jim Bird, Alfons Barrell, Joan Brossa, Jorge Castillo, Eduardo Chillida, Christo, Joseph Guinovart, Juan Hernández-Pijuán, Pere Jaume, Antoni Llena, Victor Mira, Motherwell, Kenneth Noland, Albert Ráfols-Casamada, Antoni Tápies, Francisco Toledo, Zoo Wou-Ki, and Zush. The collage was shown in an exhibition celebrating the tenth anniversary of Galeria Joan Prats, Barcelona, in 1986.
